We are devastated to learn of the tragic death of ABF contributor and friend Sheldon Kostenko (aka PacNu). Words can’t really express how we are feeling right now. Our sincere condolences to his family and his many friends in the 204.

Sheldon was an amazing guy who could light up a room with his energy and who loved the Bombers/Jets as much as anyone we know. He will be missed by the many people who called him a friend.

Statement from his family:

“The family of Sheldon Kostenko (Born in Winnipeg on March 2, 1978) are saddened to learn of the sudden death of their beloved son, brother and uncle this past Saturday December 3, 2010.

Sheldon is survived by his mother (Louise), father (Nick), twin sister (Sandra) and niece (Jaden), and extended family members who share their grief.

The family is currently unaware of details pertaining to Sheldon’s tragic death, other than the news announcement released by the Winnipeg Police Department.

Sheldon will be remembered as a caring, generous young man who loved life, family and friends. He was an avid sports and fitness enthusiast, and for the past several years has worked as a supported living counsellor for people with disabilities.

A private family service will held in coming days, and family members wish to extend their appreciation to those who have extended condolences at this difficult time.

The PacNu Report - Week #3

The PacNu Report is back!!! Like all of us, Pac wants to bust the bookie WCLC this year and this site is the ONLY place for his picks.

Pac was 2-2 last week and is sitting at 6-2 for the season.

This week PacNu likes the Blue & Gold at home and will take the +3.5 points.

With Calvillo on the verge of another record, Pac is taking Montreal in a Proline win.

He also likes Hamilton to cover the -1.5.

The BC and Edmonton game may be a tight one, but Pac is going with Edmonton to cover the -2.5 points.

The PacNu Report - Week #2

The PacNu Report is back!!! Like all of us, Pac wants to bust the bookie WCLC this year and this site is the ONLY place for his picks.

PacNu blasted out of the gates in week one, nailing all of picks. 4-0 is a nice way to start things off.

Although he is a die hard Blue & Gold fan, Pacnu likes Toronto both ways - to cover the spread (+1.5) and the Proline win. With the Bombers banged up and the fact Toronto likes Canad Inn Stadium as much as Wade Miller likes buffets, he doesn’t like the team’s chances.

In the other Friday night game, The Pac Attack likes Calgary’s on the road and thinks they’ll cover the 2.5 points.

On Saturday, Pac figures Montreal will win on the road and cover those 1.5 points.

A big fan of betting ties, Pac is all over the Hamilton/Edmonton game. He thinks it will be a close one.

Good luck!

The PacNu Report

The PacNu report is back!!! Like all of us, Pac wants to bust the WCLC this year and this site is the ONLY place for his picks.

Pac isn’t like everybody else jumping off the Montreal bandwagon because they lost some starters, he likes the champs for a Proline win in their home opener.

The Pac Attack wants to point out that Alouettes are 12-3 in home openers since they rejoined the league in 1996 and haven’t lost one since they fell 16-7 to Saskatchewan in 2007.

Check back tomorrow for the rest of the CFL picks. Early lean on the Blue & Gold to cover their +8.5 against Hamilton.

The PacNu Report

Pac is back with some quick picks.

In the NFL home opener, he likes the Viks to cover.

Although they got hammered last week by Calgary, Pac thinks the dreadful Eskimos can bounce back and cover a whopping 10.5 points.

After BC’s upset last week, Pac is riding Vancouver this week.

PacNu also likes the Ticats chances at home against Montreal. They cover the -3.5.

Pierce may be out, buy PacNu has faith in Jyles and the Bombers to cover the -4.5.

Good luck. Go Blue!

The PacNu Report

Like everyone, PacNu had a rough week in the CFL last go around. That’s not going to phase The Pac, as he is bleeding Blue & Gold. He figures they will cover the +11.5 points against Montreal in a losing battle against the Als.

Go Blue!
